Asus PA32U Monitor Review
Asus PA32U comes with a 32-inch liquid crystal display (LCD), which is fully capable of displaying 4K videos and images. It supports maximum resolution up to 3840 x 2160 at 138 PPI pixel density.
ProArt monitor uses an IPS panel that uses Quantum dot technology and Direct LED lighting as it has 384 LED lights in the display that are placed behind the whole screen instead of being along the edges. The 384 zone LEDbrightness and better function adjustment control allow it to be better capable of achieving high brightness of 1,000 cd/m2 with an awesome contrast ratio.
The HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology improves video quality by increasing the color palette and contrast ratio. Therefore, it gives more realistic and natural image results with rich colors including brighter whites, deep blacks, and lots of details in darker and shadow regions.

The Asus PA monitor also uses quantum dot technology that supports a wider color gamut while enabling the monitor to give 99.5% Adobe RGB, 85% Rec. 2020, 100% sRGB and 95% DCI-P3 color-space. This can be perfect for the production and editing if high-end videos.
Quantum Dot Technology, a display technology, is like OLED where the light emitting diodes light up just on demand to enable more efficiency. Quantum dots screens can display amazing higher peak brightness, provide better high color saturation, color accuracy, and reduced power consumption. Comparatively, this technology is new and perfect to be applied on flat TV, gaming gear, mobile phones, tablets, and much more.
PA32U comes with a Thunderbolt 40 Gbps USB Type-C connector (USB 3.1 Gen 2) with support for DisplayPort 1.2. These connectors support transfer of high data that is paramount to achieve 4K and HDR performance.
