FamilyLink: Google’s parent app now in the US

After only a few people were able to test Google’s FamilyLink at the beginning, the security app was now also published for the American market. It should only be a matter of time until FamilyLink is available here as well. Google has already placed a localized website online. FamilyLink is designed to enable parents to control access to smartphones and tablets to better monitor the media consumption of their own children. With FamilyLink, you can see which apps download children to either confirm or block the downloads. In addition, you can create reports about media usage. The daily Screentime can be monitored as well as the apps with which most of the time was spent. Also practical: the child’s tablet or smartphone can be switched off automatically at a certain time. For homework and especially for sleeping, this could provide for less stress in the household.
